I began studying for my real estate license in 2003 and by February 2004 I had passed the exam and was a licensed salesperson.  The market was heating up and almost immediately I was listing and selling homes.  I was fortunate to enter the market at that time because I gained an incredible amount of knowledge through the highs and ensuing lows of southern California real estate.  I witnessed buyers getting caught up in the frenzy of securing a property and bidding on homes in bad locations and/or tracts with structural issues.  They quickly found that it wasn’t so easy to sell in a down market.  For this very reason, my focus has always been to find a good, solid investment for my clients.  Coupled with that and equally important is understanding the complexities of escrow.  Timelines, contingencies, contractual and disclosure requirements are all “moving parts” of a transaction and I understand them extremely well.

Prior to real estate, I worked in the environmental industry for nearly 15 years.  While always disciplined and detail-oriented, the preciseness of science honed that skill in me further.  The whole became greater than the sum of its parts, so to speak and my clients benefit from my exacting nature.
